Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy outlines the general warranty principles applicable to products supplied by Ettix Sdn Bhd. Warranty coverage may vary depending on product category, manufacturer terms, application, and purchase arrangement.

General Warranty Coverage

Ettix aims to supply products that meet expected quality and performance standards. Where applicable, certain products may carry manufacturer warranty, supplier warranty, or limited warranty support subject to the terms of the original brand, product type and intended usage.

Warranty support generally applies to manufacturing defects or product failures arising from normal and intended use, provided the item has been handled, installed and operated correctly.

Manufacturing Defect Warranty generally applies where a verified defect exists in the product due to manufacturing fault.
Normal Intended Use Coverage is normally limited to defects arising during proper and intended use of the product.
Subject to Product Type Different products may carry different warranty durations and coverage depending on manufacturer and technical category.

What Warranty Does Not Cover

Warranty does not apply to issues caused by misuse, improper handling, unauthorized modification, installation error, accidental damage, negligence or use outside the intended operating environment.

Improper Installation Damage caused by incorrect installation, handling or configuration is not covered under normal warranty.
Physical Damage Warranty does not cover damage caused by impact, breakage, misuse, contamination or external accident.
Unauthorized Alteration Products that have been modified, repaired or altered without approval may void warranty eligibility.

Warranty Claim Process

If a customer believes a product may be defective and eligible for warranty review, the customer should contact Ettix with complete product and purchase information. Our team may request further details, images, videos, testing results or return of the item for technical assessment.

Step 1 — Contact Ettix Provide the order number, product details, issue description and supporting information.
Step 2 — Initial Review Our team reviews the case and may request additional evidence or clarification before proceeding.
Step 3 — Inspection / Assessment The product may need to be returned, tested or reviewed to determine whether the issue falls within warranty conditions.
Step 4 — Resolution If approved, the resolution may include repair, replacement, credit consideration or other remedy depending on product type and supplier terms.

Supporting Information Required

To process a warranty request more efficiently, customers should provide clear and complete supporting information when submitting the claim.

Proof of Purchase Order reference, invoice, receipt or other valid purchase documentation must be provided.
Product Identification Model number, serial number, product code or technical reference should be included wherever applicable.
Issue Description A clear explanation of the problem, operating condition and observed symptoms will help our team assess the case.
Photo / Video Evidence Images or video of the issue may be requested to speed up evaluation and reduce unnecessary delays.

Warranty Resolution

Warranty outcomes may vary depending on the specific product, manufacturer support, technical findings and commercial arrangement. Ettix reserves the right to determine the most appropriate course of action after review.

Repair Where appropriate, the product may be repaired if the issue can be reasonably rectified.
Replacement If approved, Ettix may replace the defective item with the same model or an equivalent alternative where suitable.
Credit / Adjustment In certain cases, a credit note or commercial adjustment may be considered depending on the circumstances.

Important Warranty Limitations

Warranty support is subject to stock, manufacturer approval, technical verification, product discontinuation status and reasonable commercial consideration. Lead time for review and resolution may vary depending on the complexity of the claim.

No Automatic Approval Submission of a warranty claim does not automatically guarantee warranty approval or replacement.
Product-Specific Terms Some products may carry specific warranty periods or manufacturer conditions that differ from general policy.
Assessment Required All claims are subject to technical and commercial review before any final outcome is confirmed.

Additional Warranty Notes

For products sourced from third-party manufacturers, brands or specialized suppliers, warranty support may depend on the original manufacturer’s policy, assessment procedures and technical conclusion. In such cases, Ettix may act as an intermediary to coordinate the claim process but final warranty eligibility may remain subject to manufacturer confirmation.

Products used in industrial, project-based, harsh-environment or non-standard applications may require case-by-case review. Customers are encouraged to consult Ettix before purchase when the intended use involves operational, environmental or technical conditions outside general commercial usage.

Where warranty terms are specifically stated in quotations, invoices, product documents or separate agreements, those terms may supplement or override the general guidance stated in this policy.
